Freyja, The Bard

The Voice That Carries

REALM Comics Issue 6, Freyja, The Bard cover

01 / Story synopsis

The story

The hidden source has been found, but discovery alone is not enough. A truth that cannot travel remains isolated. A message that becomes distorted before it arrives has not fulfilled its purpose. The signal must carry meaning without being consumed by noise.

Freyja, the Bard, steps into the communication field. She separates meaning from distortion, gives the signal a clear path, and makes sure the message reaches its destination intact.

02 / Narrative sequence

What happens in this issue

  1. Loge has found the source and the signal is readable, but the message fails to reach beyond its origin.
  2. The first transmission returns as noise. Duplication, false patterns, and collisions distort its meaning.
  3. Freyja refuses to solve the problem by making the signal louder. The Bard makes it clearer.
  4. She separates the first voice from its echoes and protects the meaning beneath the noise.
  5. The false meanings collapse and the message gains a destination. Only what must arrive is carried forward.
  6. The voice finally reaches its destination. A message is not finished when it leaves; it is finished when it arrives.
